About this: I just had a module put in that will allow me to categories all of the scans that are being made - and I FINALLY get to see my site come to life - YEA!

Because of this module, I hope that you personally will see a big difference in this site over the next couple of weeks - not only will it be 'alive and kicking,' but more importantly, it will start fulfilling the function I have for it: To catalog Pocket Schedules!

Welcome to my www.pocketschedules.net blog.

Before I get into the specifics of this blog, I want to thank you visiting, and hope you not only like what you see, but will participate in this growing community.

As such, I want you to know upfront that this is the only website with a mission stamen that is dedicated to “Documenting the history of sports through its pocket schedules.”

But before I move on too far down the line, let me introduce myself. My name is Michael Ross, site owner, California native, Registered Legislative Advocate (Lobbyist for almost 35 years), Educator and most important, Pocket Schedule Collector!!!

My personal collection consists of about 2,000 schedules (with another 500 or so duplicates for trades!) that focus on Professional Sports: MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL. I also have sports schedules from NASCAR, Horse Racing, Tennis and other sports. Finally, my collection also has a subset or two: Colleges in N. California – Stanford, Cal and the others. And as you review the pages, you will notice that it is those schedules that I started this site with!
